Escape to North Myrtle Beach for sun and fun

Formed in 1968 by merging four communities, North Myrtle Beach has a population of about 13,750. Its six miles (one source puts it at nine miles) of  beaches and wide open ocean beckon you for sunning, swimming and a wide variety of water sports (though be mindful of the rip tides).
